A bit about me: 
Since May, 2003, I have been a part of ActionCOACH, a global organization that focuses on helping owners and teams of small businesses improve performance, so that they can improve their lives. It is all summed up in the company vision, “World Abundance Through Business Re-Education.” From its start 25 years ago in Brisbane, Australia, we have worked with tens of thousands of businesses. It is the engine that powers the work that I do with small businesses.

First Career
As they said in the old recruiting ads, “It’s not a job but an adventure!”After university, I spent my first seven years as a US Naval Aviator and piloted SH-3 Sea King anti-submarine warfare helicopters. It was my “up close and personal” exposure to setting really challenging goals and achieving them. It was also my learning laboratory for leadership skills.

Second Career
For 21 years, I worked for a Fortune 100 Healthcare company. I primarily led and managed teams in Sales and Customer Service. It was my learning laboratory for management skills.

Third Career
You already know about my third career… ActionCOACH! As a part of my development as a coach, I earned a Master’s in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at the University of Georgia. It is about the application of evidence-based methods to the improvement of individuals and teams in business and other organizations and powers what I do with Executive Performance.
